Residential Accommodation Field

Within the reception area, Ficat manages five residential resources with comprehensive support within the framework of the Nausica Municipal Shelter Program and a resource for young people who have left care that is part of the Youth Support Area of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The service is committed to sustainable social change through participatory action research involving stakeholders and the general public. It fosters the generation of synergies and transformative social and relational networks aimed at improving skills and knowledge of the environment, restoring trust, developing initiative, building solidarity, and generating endogenous leadership that enables short-term social and community inclusion, with a medium- and long-term perspective beyond the end of the stay.

External accompaniment is maintained, once the stay has ended, focused on giving stability to the itineraries.

LLAR MÓN project:

Within the framework of the residential reception program, the Llar Món project is being implemented. Its purpose is to include a specific program for environmental awareness, empowerment in supply management, and career guidance in the field of sustainability and green energy, in line with the objectives of the  Citizen Commitment to Sustainability 2012-2022, in addition to the work of fostering and supporting autonomy.

Emigra - Migrant Energy for the Climate:

"Emigra - Migrant Energy for the Climate" is a project co-financed by Barcelona City Council within the framework of the Climate Grants 2022. The project seeks to contribute to cultural change for eco-social transformation by promoting spaces for participation and cultural exchange in which the migrant community in Barcelona can express and share their experiences and knowledge with the dual aim of (1) making visible the climatic and environmental factors that induce population movements and (2) improving household energy management practices.
