The Socio-Legal Support area provides specialized services on foreign law and international protection, either on its own initiative or in partnership with other social entities and administrations such as the General Directorate of Migration, Refugees, and Antiracism of the Catalan Government, Baix Llobregat’s Regional Council, Sant Joan de Déu’s Social Services, Guné Foundation, or the University of Barcelona Solidarity Foundation, among others. This support fulfills several functions and objectives:

• It comprehensively addresses socio-legal inquiries, working in a network with regional services and resources.
• It electronically processes residence and/or work permits with the corresponding administration.
• It offers personalized attention focused on promoting empowerment.
• Its goal is to move towards full citizenship for all residents, regardless of their administrative status.
• It aims to strengthen the knowledge and guarantees with which the people served can exercise their rights.
• Monthly group talks are held.

We provide tools to ensure the effective exercise of rights for people deprived of their liberty. Young people are the main driving force of social change, and for this reason, we provide legal support and social intervention, fostering their responsibility, involvement in conflict resolution, and understanding and empathy for others. We assist in the process of transition to the community at a legal level with the goal of real inclusion and the acquisition of full citizenship.
